GI Joe Dragonfly

GI Joe Dragonfly

thingiverse

The GI Joe Dragonfly helicopter, another childhood favorite toy of mine. The file is modeled at actual toy size but intended for printing at 25%. Printing it larger or smaller may result in too much or too little detail. Print the chassis, skids, and gun pod with bottom side down with supports. Print the chin turret upside down with supports. Rotor blade is printed in upright position; can be printed without supports. Rockets are most challenging part. Intended to be printed upside down with supports, then very careful cleaning around all parts is required. Great respect and gratitude to men and women of Armed Forces (past and present). Your sacrifice allows people like me to live in peace, freedom and make silly little toys like these. It's you who are actually "the real American heroes" and I'm really proud of you. This file is free download. I had to think about how this one should be licensed. Since it is well known physical object (a Huey Cobra heli), I am safe making it 'creative commons'. Meaning, it is not distinctly GI Joe so I feel I’m okay making it CC. Since it is listed as 'creative commons - attribution', there are very few restrictions on how you use these files. You are welcome to print them out for yourself for personal use. You are also allowed to buy and sell physical copies of the models. However, if you use my files and pictures, you should provide link back to where you got them. Happy gaming!
