Another 80's G.I. Joe toy added to the collection! The A.P.C.'s design is sleek, and I always admired it, but never owned one as a kid. That's why this model isn't a direct copy - instead, it's based on images and careful guesses. The original size of the toy was used for modeling, then optimized to print in the 25% range. The chassis needs supports, while other parts can be printed without them. I could have combined the chassis, canvas, and turret into one model, but it's easier to paint each piece separately. Tires are printed with hubs facing up and glued on later. Update: an improved version of the A.P.C. was released in 2019, allowing for the removable roof. This lets you access the seats inside, a great addition. I kept my roof unglued, but got it to snap onto the seats perfectly - even when turned upside down! To all the brave men and women serving in our Armed Forces past and present: your selfless sacrifice gives people like me peace of freedom to live. You're the real American heroes. This 3D model is free to download. Remember, as listed as "non-commercial", neither you nor I can sell or buy physical copies. You can print personal copies though - please enjoy!
