A twisted visage glared back with a scarred skull that seemed to radiate an eerie glow, as if infused with the very essence of nuclear decay. Bloodshot eyes bulged from their sockets, veins throbbing beneath the surface like arteries on the verge of bursting, while the once-proud face was now nothing more than a gruesome, gory parody of its former self.
