GhostMouse Maker Coin
thingiverse
I am finally getting my own 3D printer! I'm extremely excited about this new development. To celebrate, I fired up TinkerCAD and jumped on the Maker Coin bandwagon - I thoroughly enjoy the concept, just like how I test my yarn when knitting or crocheting so you need a printing "swatch" too! It's not perfect because I'm still learning 3D design software, but as time goes on and I improve, I hope to also improve on the logo and coin. Edit one: added a new file; I couldn't decide if I wanted the logo to be recessed into the coin or stick out. What I'd like is to make the whole inside of the shape hollow/cut out but I don't know how to accomplish that, so I'll keep experimenting. UPDATE 8.11.2019: I uploaded two new versions; I figured out how to make the logo more like my original intent, so I did just that! Here it is with two versions, one with the GhostMouse raised up on the surface of the coin and another with it cut out into it because I couldn't choose which one I liked best. Edit the last 8.12.2019: I couldn't stop fiddling with it; decided to make it so it isn't flat on the bottom, but instead, the middle piece is recessed slightly on both top and bottom. This thing was made with Tinkercad. Edit it online https://www.tinkercad.com/things/7Qd06lwaTZL
