Custom parts for the Spirit Halloween Ghost Trap are now available, bringing your trap into line with how it should appear. Compared to the Sean Charlesworth/Charlesworth Dynamics/countspatula 3D Printed Trap, which was used as a baseline for these files, these custom parts will make a significant improvement. The Vector Plate must be printed with supports, along with the right side knob plate. To install the right side knob plate, drill out the existing knob with a 1/2" bit, then slice it flat with a razor knife. The plate will snap into place once you line it up parallel with the shell and drill the 4 holes for screws. Use 4-40 x 1/4" socket head cap screws to secure the plate in place. The rods simply snap onto the existing pegs after removing the old rods, which can be done using a pair of pliers. The front filler plate installs in place of the OEM molded switch block and is designed to use the 3D Printed trap's installation pins and knobs. Install the pins first, then the filler plate, making sure it aligns properly with the shell. Next, install the "Aluminum Plate" over the top, securing it with 2x 4-40 pan head screws, each 1/4" long. The knobs will install on top of this plate, and this secures everything in place. The vector plate is designed to use the stock retaining screw hole for alignment. However, if you prefer a version without this hole, the 4 corner screws can do the same job. Just drop a comment below if you want this alternative version, and I'll create it for you. Update: Bearing axles have been added to enhance the performance of your Spirit Halloween Ghost Trap. These axles snap over the bosses for the old wheels, requiring M4 hardware, and mount up the bearing wheels using the same #10, 3/4" black flat-head, phillips drive screw as the 3D Printed Trap. Update: A new revision of the Front Aluminum Plate has been added to correct a dimensional issue that caused the plate to sit unevenly. This update ensures your trap looks and functions perfectly. Update: The Bearing Axle has been updated to R2, with slight dimensional changes made to accommodate different manufacturing tolerances across various traps.
