Ghostbusters RTV parts for a 2x4 stampede
thingiverse
So, these are the parts I used to modify a Traxxas Stampede 2x4 version to turn it into a RTV from Ghostbusters Afterlife. I used these tires. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06XS6V7T9 and ended up using these extender/adapters https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00XF8G9ZO I used a ghostbusters cosplay trap I got from target as the shell So there are two different versions of the wheel hubs. one of which uses the stock spindles, and axle pin, and simply replaces the stock wheel adapters. the other is designed to fit over the ends of the extenders, and then slot into the wheels. there is a slight difference from front to back in the spacing of the wheels, but it wasn't enough to really bother me, but you can extend the fronts a little wider if wanted. for the truck length, I ended up cutting the front 4" off the chassis, and got rid of the tub, so, I made a new upper shock tower, stock width, that I screwed into the tub from the sides, and epoxied in also. the control arm stuff was designed so i had somewhere to hook the upper arms of the suspension to. if you're not worried about extreme suspension travel, there should be enough clearance so you don't have to notch the trap sides out. Also, to get the shocks to look right, and clearance between the front and rear tires, I ended up swapping the suspension arms from side to side, on both the front and rear. ( I cut the tub a bit short, but unfortunately necessary for the length of the trap I used. I could of made it longer, but would have required more mods to the shell. The front suspension leveling block is designed to fit on the lower suspension assembly, and made to straighten out and level the front suspension and give a flat place to bolt it onto the chassis. it actually worked out quite well. I did have to relocate the steering servo, and extend the points where it connected to the steering knuckle, but I just kibbled some bits together from other parts of the truck that were no longer used.. the front control arm stuff, you'll have to drill the lower mounting hole where you want it to be. I wasn't 100% sure where mine would work out, but it worked out alright power plug is well, a close proxy. the flashlight is just a generic barrel for the left side, but hollow, so you can add a light to it if wanted. I used a cheap penlight I found in the automotive section at walmart .
