PART OF FULL PROTON PACK BUILD - NEUTRON THROWER ALSO AVAILABLE Thrower: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2442928 This is the Pack part from my 3D printed Ghostbusters Proton Pack build. I used various measurements from the gbfans.com wiki to design it, making adjustments as needed to ensure easy 3D printing and ample space for all electronics. Inside the Neutron Thrower is an Arduino board that powers the lights, while a sound board toggled by small relays powers the speakers in the back of the pack. The video on the Neutron Thrower page showcases the sounds the pack can make. In my finished prop, all wiring was routed down the hose and connected to power and speakers within the Proton Pack itself. I've included a parts list to help with assembly - it's not too complicated, and most components print flat in one orientation or another. Only the Cyclotron parts require support material; everything else can be printed without supports. The prop features holes for LEDs that sit behind opaque plastic in the Cyclotron, while lighting in the powercell comes directly from blue LEDs, which I've also designed a mount for. To complete the look, you'll need some wires, hose, and an iconic rainbow ribbon cable. I added machine bolts to hold parts in place and give it an industrial appearance. Size-wise, this design was reduced by 10% as I'm slender and thought the full size would look out of proportion. I also minimized the depth of certain parts that didn't require bulkiness to achieve the desired look.
