Ghostbusters Proton Grenade
thingiverse
WARNING: The grenade file by itself does not match the scale of the other parts. Some fiddling with scale is definitely required. Hopefully I'll be able to post matching parts soon, but my computer is a bit wonky and I wanted to go ahead and get these up here. The No symbol for the ends of the proton grenade is rescaled from where I pulled it from the file this is "remixed" from. The rest is completely original. I was putting together my Ghostbusters costume for this year and thought it would be really cool to have some grenades. So, I threw this together based on some pictures I found online from one of the comics (source: https://ghostbusters.fandom.com/wiki/Proton_Grenade). It's still in progress, but I've made it hollow to make it take less time to print and added end caps. I could have gone for the movie grenades... but they look too much like actual explosives, and I'd rather not have someone see one out of context and call a cop on me. Also, I like the looks of the comic and cartoon ones better - they look more like a sci-fi prop. Update: I've been doing some work to add end caps and a red slash symbol on each end, but where I've been working on the scaling has been in different applications. The grenade file by itself does not match the scale of the other parts, so you will have to figure out how to scale the cap to the size of the grenade until I get the correctly scaled parts up here. Definitely make sure you take the time to set the model to print on the correct end - not laying down as shown in the preview or on the end with the antenna-looking thing.
