Ghostbusters Logo - Dual Extrude
myminifactory
I worked on a small project for my first attempt at being more than just a printer. I used a logo from Google, uploaded it to Selva3.com and had a friend, Chris Thompson, make some tweaks for me before arranging the print on the bed. The idea was to print a red 'No' sign using red filament and the Ghost section in glow-in-the-dark filament. I also downloaded a Ghostbusters font to add names across the middle bar of each badge, making them more personalized. This was just a fun project, not high-resolution, but printing 10cm ones worked great. In the images shown, the red filament ran out before completing the last layer, printed at 0.2mm layers with medium quality on Makerware. For Red ABS, I printed at 235c and Glow-in-the-dark at 200c with a print bed heated to 100c. Twenty-five percent infill may need adjusting since lettering didn't come out perfectly. I hope folks enjoy this project and will link to Chris' page once it's up, as he's an incredibly talented 3D artist whose work is well worth checking out.
