Ghostbusters Hero Neutrona Wand
thingiverse
While my neutron wand is not screen accurate, I have endeavored to clean up dimensions, create a simplistic pop mechanism and to layout all features so they fit current, available “greebles”. This project was a mesh f 3D printed parts, aluminum tubes, and miscellaneous hardware. By "hero" I mean that the front handle can rotate and the acrylic (a purchase component) is spring-loaded so it can be extended by the rear handle latch. All my purchase components and electronics are from the GBfans.com website and designed to fit those dimensions. I'm working on detail drawings, assembly layouts, bills of materials and pics/videos of my build. More to come in the future. Update 5/12/2020: OOPS. I made a mistake with the drill templates AT-FH & AT-MP. I had to swap the slot and #6-32 on each. If the slot is not in AT-MP then the handle won't rotate properly. I've uploaded the changes. Sorry everyone, hopefully, this hasn't caused too many botched up wands. Update 5/13/2020: I've uploaded the length assembly instructions which, hopefully, are fairly comprehensive and give a better understanding of how all the parts come together.
