GhostBUSTers Egon
thingiverse
Busts from The Real Ghostbusters cartoon series show up in two versions - the original is a plane cut just above the waistline, while the other has plane cuts removing arms as well. This was done to gain more height from the build on my mini model. Instructions are listed here: I scanned these items when learning how to use a NextEngineHD scanner with its autotilt base. These scans were also worked on in Netfabb, meshlab, and finalized using Makerbot desktop. The glasses on the original had an off-centered alignment, which resulted from some missing bits during the scanning process - a terrible novice attempt at sculpting is used here for upload purposes. Hopefully, sharing will get me some quality prints from users who are more experienced at editing than I am. The photos of these prints were taken from the file before correcting the glasses' position, printed with supports, and had way more come out than expected - but a new file should handle this issue effortlessly.
