Ectomobile Sniffer made from 3D Printed "Head" and PVC Pipe. You'll need: 4" Female Schedule 40 PVC Closet Flange 9" Long 4" Schedule 40 PVC Pipe (Solid or Foam Core) 4" Schedule 40 PVC Female-Female Coupler 4" Schedule 40 PVC Male to 2" Female Reducer 3" Long 2" Schedule 40 PVC Pipe (Solid Only) for Base to Sniffer Head Connection 14" Long 2" Schedule 40 PVC Pipe (Solid or Foam Core) for Sniffer Tubes Connect the pieces as shown in the pictures. Adjust the body tube (9" Long 4" Pipe) according to your needs. As shown, this makes a sniffer about 17" tall. First, install the sniffer tubes into the head. Then check the neck hole - pipe will protrude a little. Grind it back with a dremel before installing the head onto the neck tube. My sniffer head is simple but gets the job done. Printed in PETG standing on its smallest surface (I did mine 5 Perimeters, 4 Top/Bottom Layers, 30% Infill), it should withstand scorching summers without issue. I've had my Ecto up to 70mph on the highway with no concerns about head integrity. As always, if you make one and it flies off causing a Yakkety Sax-worthy moment, I'm not responsible. Spend a few dollars and add a catch chain or cable. Check out my Ectomobile Sniffer Thing for installation on your Ecto (www.facebook.com/EctoWK).
