Ghostbusters Ecto Containment Unit Handle

I'm working on a design for the Containment Unit handle inspired by the iconic Ghostbusters 1984 prop. This is for a custom prop I'm building and I'll provide details as they become available. The design is intended to mimic the handle's functionality in the movie, but won't actually lock the door like it does in the film - at least not yet. I've got some reservations about whether the latch mechanism was even functional on screen.
