Ghostbusters Belt Gizmo - Reinforced & Remixed

I'm a huge fan of Azurial's Belt Gizmo model, but its original design was too flimsy and prone to breaking. I completely reworked it in Sketchup (the file is attached!) and beefed up the baseplate by making it 3mm thick instead of 1mm. This gives it a lot more strength now. The included STL has been adjusted to be slightly wider where Azurial's Nixie shelf would sit, so you can glue the shelf directly onto the board's surface - which is much stronger than trying to attach it and then glueing. I then went ahead and separated Chrischkula's Belt_Gizmo_finished_-_Demo.stl from the Nixie shelf in Netfabb so that it could be printed as a separate piece without needing assembly. This file goes with the remodeled Gizmo board, which was sized for a seamless fit. The .skp matches this STL. The Chrischkula Nixie shelf is best printed by importing it directly and turning supports on. The Gizmo itself comes out strongest when printed at 200 micron layers, solid for added strength.
