Use Simplified STL Files on FDM Printers The simplified STL files provided are ideal for use on FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) printers, as the leads in the standard Daughterboard.stl model may not extrude properly. However, they work flawlessly on SLA/SLS printers. These 3D-printed daughterboards also integrate seamlessly with my custom 3D printed daughterboard holders. In reality, they are likely to only endure the rigors of being attached to a belt if securely housed in a holder.
