Ghostbusters Belt Gizmo Nixie Tubes

I decided to design my own set of 3D Printable Nixies, as I wasn't entirely thrilled with the way many of them looked. My goal was to create a simple yet effective design. The Nixie tubes are essentially hollow tubes made from clear filament, giving them a transparent appearance. To add an extra touch, I incorporated a rail that doubles as a cover for the opening at the bottom, complete with a mounting point for a 3mm LED. This clever design element creates the illusion that the wires connected to the LED are actually part of the Nixie's internal wiring system. Overall, my creation is a straightforward model that gets the job done without unnecessary complexity. The Nixie bodies slide seamlessly into the recesses of a Nixie Shelf, while the rail slides in effortlessly underneath, creating a smooth and cohesive look.
