Ghost Light Insert

A buddy asked me to print out this ghost and make it glow too! So with some time in Tinkercad, I turned an old LED computer fan into an LED holder. If you're up for a fun project, give it a shot. Here's how: First off, find a used computer fan and remove the 4 LEDs from it. Then take apart the motor's windings from the circuit board - there should be four posts holding them on. Next, print out the LED holder and attach the battery tray to the flat side of the ring circuit board holder. Mount the circuit board inside and secure the LEDs in place with glue. After that, I bent a paperclip into a circle and slipped it through the bottom of the battery compartment to create a connection point for the watch batteries we'll be using. I also glued a straight piece of paper clip to the other side as a contact. Finally, it's time for some soldering! You'll need to install a slide switch into the back of the Ghost's eye and cut away the back cap to make room for it. Then you'll have to connect all your leads to complete the circuit. I've even added a diffuser to soften up those LEDs. Hit reply with any questions, and I'll get back to you!
