Just another friendly character magnet. After bringing Pac-Man into being, it was clear he needed some companions... Almost all settings will work, just use some infill so the top cover has something to rest on. The less infill used, the smaller magnet that can be employed (weight). Post-Printing Secure your magnet in place with glue or press-fit. Printed with ABS, a little acetone was used where the magnet wouldn't stick to hold it there. How I Designed This A sphere and cylinder were combined, then scaled down along the z-axis. Additional cylinders rotated at 45-degree angles were added for the skirt and every other one was deleted, slightly translated in y, creating a wavy false sinus curve. Eyes were also added - one smaller sphere was deleted from a larger one, scaled down and rotated into place. Custom Section Parametric magnet_diameter = 12; magnet_height = 3; ghost_diameter = 60; ghost_thickness = 33; //percent ghost_fold_amount = 3.5; the smaller magnet-figures are diameter 30mm, the larger ones with Pac-Man's face are 60mm Diameter is the width, thickness is in percent, 33% equals 60mm into a 10mm height. fold amount is the number of full false sinus waves on the ghost skirt. If someone wants to parameterize the eyes for different expressions, that would be great. Feel free to customize this.
