This is a cutting-edge FPV landing system I designed utilizing eight millimeter carbon fiber tubes as a rail system. You can install batteries or camera gimbals on it and a wide variety of other items. Stay tuned for more exciting developments! **Important Updates** Dual-battery carrier added to the design New Half Landing Skids made available (for easier printing replacement) Pixhawk Lite (or similar-sized flight controller) vibration mount implemented. It simply slides over the screws of the frame GPS Mount for eight millimeter carbon fiber tube installed, mounting in one of the square 10x10 holes on the board. What You'll Need to Get Started 2x rail mounts 2x legs Four twelve-inch long eight millimeter carbon fiber tubes Two battery clips with a rubber band each. Two FPV clips for Tarot T2D gimbals The four-series battery clip is compatible with a four-series 5000mAh Turnigy battery, whereas the six-series clip is designed for a five-point-five ampere-hour non-name battery. If you're looking for one that suits your specific battery size, simply mention it in the comments and I'll be happy to assist you. It's essential to use a relatively strong rubber band; the more robust it is, the tighter its grip on the battery will be and the less likely it is to slip out. I printed this landing system with ABS plastic at two hundred thirty-eight degrees Celsius, using four to five shells and twenty to twenty-five percent infill. This helps keep the system pretty lightweight while still maintaining its strength.
