Ghost Busters' PKE Meter
thingiverse
As you can tell from its name, here's a PKE METER design reminiscent of the one found in Ghost Busters. Print this out and use it to bring your ghost buster prop set or costume up to par. As a designer myself, I took the liberty of refining the original design just a bit - the new PKE meter is slightly smaller than its big brother so that it will fit in any size printer you've got. The buttons are better positioned too, and some minor tweaks were made throughout the design for added detail. The inside components are far from similar, though, since I'd never laid eyes on the actual Ghost Busters PKE meter before creating this replica. The large body parts were cut down in two to accommodate smaller printers and fit within them with greater ease. You'll need some internal details so that you can glue these back together once printing is complete. Adding a little bit of epoxy will seal things right up for you. With my UP printer, I managed to successfully print this out, gluing it together with just the right amount of pressure - using internal screws as reinforcement helped prevent anything from shifting until the glue had dried solid. Removing them afterwards wasn't difficult either. It's been a blast making these designs come to life for all to see and play around with!
