My First Attempt at Modeling Cardinal Copia's Hat! I'm super excited about my initial attempt at creating a 3D model of Cardinal Copia's iconic hat! Tobias' redesign of the biretta is an absolute masterpiece, and I couldn't find any existing models on Thingiverse that met my expectations. Since this is my first time modeling something like this, I'm sure there will be plenty of errors and mistakes. To help with any issues or modifications, I've uploaded my SolidWorks file for your reference. If you need it in another format, just let me know, and I'll be more than happy to share! I'm about to start printing the model, so unfortunately, I don't have any pictures of the actual print yet. However, I promise to post some updates as soon as I've finished it. One thing that made this project a bit challenging was finding high-quality photos of the hat itself. Since I couldn't locate any official or credited images online, I had to rely on my intuition and instincts to get the model right. I did use both images from Google, but unfortunately, I couldn't track down the original authors to give them proper credit. Lastly, I deliberately kept the base of the hat curved rather than flat, as this will make it print much more smoothly and accurately.
