My wife kept placing her curling wand everywhere in the bathroom, especially where I wanted to sit. To solve this problem, I designed and 3D printed a holder for her. I haven't checked yet how hot the handle of the wand gets, but if the temperature stays below 70°C (since it's printed with PETG), resting it while using should be no issue at all. To attach the holder to the wall, I used tesa powerstrips. These adhesive strips are amazing and work perfectly for this purpose. They come with a pull-to-remove handle on the underside, allowing you to easily take off the holder whenever needed. I chose the cheapest transparent PETG filament available and it printed beautifully. In fact, I've had more trouble with PLA in the past, so I'm really happy with how this turned out.
