GFI Outlet Cover Speaker Stand (use with Google Home, Alexa)

I sought a solution that would enable me to position my Google Home above an outlet in the kitchen and bathroom while concealing the wires. After taking some measurements, I successfully implemented this design in both rooms, and it's functioning flawlessly so far. I'm considering refining the design to incorporate a subtle bevel around the edges, which would create a slight offset between the plate and the wall, but for now, this setup is more than satisfactory. I assume that this concept would also work seamlessly with the Google Home Mini, Alexa, and other similar devices.
