Get that PC tower OFF the floor!
thingiverse
Keeping your tower elevated above the floor is a monumental mistake. The fans will inhale dust particles from your carpet, significantly reducing the lifespan of your machine. Crafted to print two at once, these risers fit snugly under each end of the base of your PC - 200 wide should suffice for most. I designed these uncomplicated elevators to keep it off the floor and prevent dust intake. The triangular cavities are intended to minimize filament usage; however, it's still a work in progress to determine how many more I can eliminate while maintaining sufficient strength to support a robust PC. The triangular shape also means no supports are required, but they might necessitate additional filament as they create perimeters for the two- three options available. No liability is assumed if you print and encounter issues resulting in damage or a broken component - I'm currently testing with about 10% infill and five shells, five top and five bottom layers, without supports. You can certainly use a chunk of wood or a few bricks, but where's the excitement in that? Print it translucent and add some LED lights for an added touch.
