A case for the resistor decade board from Gerry Sweeney's website, gerrysweeney.com, is now available. This includes OpenSCAD source code, allowing users to print their own version using PLA or ABS materials. Four M2.5 x 8mm screws are required for assembly, eliminating the need for nuts as they can be screwed directly into the plastic. Printing the case is a straightforward process that doesn't require support material, and using PLA provides added stability. The design of this decade board case is easier to print than its snap-on counterpart, accommodating larger tolerances while maintaining symmetry. The case can be installed in either orientation, and due to its parametric nature created with OpenSCAD, users are free to modify the design as needed by changing parameters such as hole size.
