Pf-10 Uferbalkenwagen The file converts payload on Pf-10 into usable format. This payload is essential to initiate river crossing operations at riverside locations (Ufer...). When the bridge span is determined, the riverside beam (Uferbalken) is carefully positioned and anchored to the ground. The beam features pins on its top surface where roadway beams are securely attached at precise intervals. The payload includes: 1. Riverside beam (center of cart) 2. Two piles of planks for driving surface (right and left outer edges of cart) 3. Two pairs of roadway bearers 4. One bearer (for roadway upper side) 5. Two transition rails (planks right and left aside of riverside beam) 6. One transition flap (below the riverside beam) As a bridge over a river connects two separate landmasses, there are two "Uferbalkenwagen" (riverside beam carts) in a German Bridging Column B. You will find them in 2nd pontoon platoon of the column. Photomodels are scaled at 1/160 scale.
