Modeling the German Type 1936A Destroyer at a precise 1/1800th scale required great attention to detail. Since specific elements were not scaled to this exact degree, certain modifications had to be implemented to ensure accuracy. These warships, known for their firepower and maneuverability, boasted an array of heavy artillery including four or five six-inch guns, along with eight potent torpedo tubes, coupled with a suite of anti-aircraft armament and depth charges. Designated by numbers from Z23-Z39, these ships were designed for combat, with seven eventually falling to enemy action. This model has undergone extensive testing at 1/1800th scale but can be scaled up or down as required. Although optimized for the stated scale, larger prints may suffer from a lack of detail due to the scaling process, leading to noticeable distortions in gun barrels and masts. My collection of WWII warships will continue to expand; if you have any specific requests, please send me a message and I'll prioritize it accordingly. Following my previous update on 14 August, 2019, further improvements were made including the addition of boats and anchor chains to enhance printability, along with some essential adjustments for smoother results when using PLA material at a .1mm layer height in conjunction with a .4mm nozzle.
