As the Great War dragged on the No Man's Land between the trenches saw ongoing skirmishes that descended into Medieval-style butchery.  Outfitted in armor plates and additonal protection, troops would stealthily approach their enemies trenches and launch a surprise attack to try to gain meters of ground. These attacks often devolved into brutal hand-to-hand combat.  This multi-part set works in conjunction with our WW1 German hard plastic set to give you more options for your German army.
