This unshot bullet was unearthed in the Walcherse Dunes of Dutch Zeeland province. After restoration, its 84 years show remarkably well, leaving it almost new-looking. Regrettably, other items from this dig, including a clip and additional bullets, are beyond repair. The markings indicate that it was manufactured in Magdeburg's Polterwerk German arms factory in 1936, designed to be fired from a German Mauser rifle.
