German Officer's Dagger
thingiverse
I recently crafted a replica of a 1900s German officer's dagger that, upon detailed examination, bore an ancient symbol on its blade. However, I decided to exclude this particular detail, focusing solely on the dagger's remarkable design. This was my first attempt at modeling in Zbrush and I must say, I am quite pleased with the outcome. I hope you share my enthusiasm! In my latest creation, I modeled the blade in two versions: a complete one-piece version and separate "BladeTop" and "BladeBot" sections designed for joining together (gluing optional for added strength). This feature allows for customizable size options. To ensure seamless perfection, apply a homemade ABS glue (part plastic, part acetone) to cover the blade's seam using a brush and, if necessary, sand it smooth afterward.
