1/1800th scale model of a Graf Zeppelin Class aircraft carrier. Certain features have been adapted to ensure optimal display on this scale. The Graf Zeppelin was the primary aircraft carrier in the German Navy's naval expansion plan leading up to WWII. Due to rapidly changing circumstances, only one vessel in the class ever began construction during the war years, and its sister ship remained unbuilt entirely due to an extreme lack of available resources for naval manufacturing projects. When WWII started, the lead Graf Zeppelin had been constructed at roughly 85% completion rate. This is just a few models within my entire collection of historic WWII naval vessels; expect more added regularly in upcoming listings if desired.
