I created this because I found a few issues with the other food scoops on the website. I saw that a lot of the scoops didn't have rounded edges. Rounded edges increase strength and durability, and that's why I created this scoop. I don't know the exact volume of the scoop, I just made an educated guess on how much I need for my two gerbils.
