Gerber Suspension Quick Click Case

After fixing the stock cloth case twice and having the velcro wear out completely, I decided it was time to create a new case from scratch. My initial attempt involved printing a customized version of http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:335122, which can be found at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:335786. Unfortunately, this design felt flimsy and never quite fit right on my belt. I also tend to knock my knife on everything when it's attached, so a VERY robust clip was essential. However, printing the entire case in one piece forced me to choose between a strong clip or a sturdy case. After careful consideration, I decided to redesign the case from scratch and create separate parts for the clip and case to ensure maximum strength in each component. Introducing the Gerber Suspension Quick Click Case After months of rigorous testing, use, drops, and abuse - including reinforcing the clip - I'm pleased to say that this design has proven itself worthy of sharing. It works flawlessly! Key Features: * A simple slide-in mechanism allows for one-handed retrieval and return * A satisfying "click" action is triggered when the tool is fully inserted * The reinforced belt clip withstands even my most extreme abuse (drops, knocks, you name it - I've tried them all) * A straightforward design requires no support to print
