Gerber Dime Screwdriver Mod
thingiverse
This is a work in progress, updates to instructions and hints may follow. This modification targets the Gerber Dime Keychain Multitool. It eliminates the built-in flat head screwdriver and flat Phillips/file combo, as well as the space for tweezers. In exchange, you'll get a lockable 4mm precision bit driver, plus room for an extra bit. Theoretically, this trade-off results in two poor drivers and a bad file replaced by four good drivers on hand. Required tools: * A 3D printer (no surprise here) * A Gerber Dime (equally obvious) * A heat gun or blowtorch * Screwdrivers for disassembling the multitool * Metal files Steps to prepare the tool for modification: -> Additional information will be added later.
