(fixed angle due to position of flight controller blocking more upward tilt) GepRC Rocket to Phantom 2.5" Pusher conversion based on J-Man youtube recommendation, with some modifications. J-Man's video is here: https://youtu.be/4-an370_Gos I went from @4min 30sec flight time on the GepRC rocket lite to 7:30 with this set up! The whole set up with a 4s 650mah battery is @200grams. I have also designed a naked gopro hero 6 mount that goes on top of this set up and brings the weight to just under 220. I will post that design later. To keep weight down to the minimum I am using the caddx nebula system, and I designed and printed a mount for the 14x14mm camera - could be used for analog, too I suppose. (using the caddx vista system would only add @4-5 grams, but my current camera mount design would not work for that camera) I also designed a small mount for the back standoff that holds the beeper and the led light unit. I also researched the best duct configurations, and designed this 2.5" duct for maximum power and efficiency. I printed mine with polymax pla at around 60% infill with supports (see supports photo)The whole setup is much better at acro and I love having the extra flight time! A couple of notes: I realized when I flipped the motors over for this conversion I didn't need to remap any of the motors, I only had to switch off invert motor direction in betaflight, and mount the props on the opposite motors that they normally would have been on.
