GEPRC GEP-RX5 Hawk Canopy (Pod)
thingiverse
This is an experimental pod tailored specifically for the GEPRC GEP-RX5 Hawk frame. I've carefully designed it to meet a particular set of requirements. The pod features: Racerstar RS33LS 33A 4 in 1 ESC; Omnibus F4 Pro flight controller; Turnigy IA6C receiver; FT48X VTX with angle pigtail; Runcam Split with RC25G long lens; Hobbywing XRotor 2405 motors; GEPRC 5040 V2 5 inch props. Assembling all components into this pod proved to be quite a challenge. I've yet to find an easy solution for accessing the USB port of the FC and Split's plate. To overcome this issue, I soldered a micro USB cable with thin silicon wires at an angle. This allows me to connect to the board through the air intake openings. I strongly recommend configuring the FC and other components before assembling the pod. In my opinion, the pod looks interesting but not very practical. I'm open to suggestions on how to improve it. The camera should be mounted using a standard metal mounting bracket. This pod is designed for printing with a 0.3 mm nozzle.
