If you have 30 mm by 30 mm slides / transparencies and you want to scan them or use them in ordinary 50 mm by 50 mm slide projector, then you need a Gepe 457500 50x50 110 slide adapter. As these are no longer made / sold, I created my own functional equivalent. This design is a functional analog, not a replica of the original Gepe design. Pros: Holds the slide real tight. You will not loose the side in the projector. Cons: Hard to get the side in an out of the adapter. This slide adapter is 3mm thick which is fine for my Nikon MA-21 CoolScan slide adapter. However, such thickness may not work with your equipment. You may have to modify the design to slim it down. To insert the slide into the adapter: Insert the slide towards the spring end of the adapter and then push the slide into place with your thumb. To remove the slide from the adapter: With your thumbnail, compress the spring, and with your index finger of your other hand, eject the slide.
