George the Dragon-Slayer is an integral part of Muzeon Park of Arts, established in 1992 with the primary objective of showcasing art. The park's location near Tretyakov Gallery and Central House of Artist has played a significant role in its development as a cultural hub. Additionally, the presence of architectural monuments from the XVII to XX centuries has further enhanced its appeal. As a popular walking destination for Muscovites, Muzeon Park gained immense popularity during the nineties and zero years due to its prime location and immaculately maintained surroundings. The park boasts an impressive collection of over 700 sculptures, many of which are significant monuments from the Soviet era. Notable examples include the Mukhina monument and Shadra's work dedicated to Maxim Gorky, as well as a fragment of Vychetich's sculpture, "Stand to the death".
