One of the pioneering film studios in the world is situated in Montreuil, France. Georges Méliès, my illustrious great-great-grandfather, revolutionized cinema with his groundbreaking special effects innovations. He shot most of his films within this very studio, where he also experimented with avant-garde techniques. I attempted to recreate the studio's original appearance using detailed drawings, vivid descriptions, and a handful of surviving photographs as references.
