George Jetson, from the classic cartoon series The Jetsons, created by Hanna-Barbera. George lives with his family and their dog Astro in Orbit City of the future. He is a well-meaning and caring father, but often finds himself stressed out and confused by the challenges of both his work and home life. No supports are required for printing this model. If you have the correct filament colors, no painting is necessary. The finished model stands 260mm tall. Due to some small parts, it's not recommended to scale down the design, but scaling up should be fine without issue. Have fun! Building the Model Colors (there are no multiple printed pieces) Black: eyebrows eyeblacks mouth ring_top ring_bottom stripes buckle ... Beige or Flesh: head hand_left hand_right ... White: shirt shoes arm_left arm_right eyewhites ... Orange: hair_top hair_bottom ... Blue: pants ... Green: belt ... Red: tongue ... Any color (hidden pieces): pin_belt pin_hair ... Printing and Assembly Tips Printing Tips 1-Just like most of my designs, no supports are needed. 2-Make sure to clean up any first layer squish if you encounter any problems joining parts. The parts should fit nicely when printed cleanly or with a slight first layer squish. 3-I didn't need any rafts or brims for the parts, but use your judgment since some have small bases: hand_left hand_right arm_left arm_right ... Assembly Tips 1-The left/right eyebrows are quite small and are designed to fit in a specific way, however as long as they look good it should be fine either way. 2-The left/right eyewhites and left/right eyeblacks can be swapped out. 3-Before gluing the stripes and buckle, make sure to bend them a bit since they're being glued to a slightly rounded part. 4-If the rings around the pants are too tight, simply sand a tiny bit off the part that touches the pants. A little sanding makes a big difference in how well the rings fit. 5-Since there are many small black parts I printed two sets of each part. I knew I'd drop and lose a part while assembling the model. 6-Refer to the assembly diagram for putting the model together. The model is designed to be glued.
