George Jetson, from the comic strip The Jetsons, by Hanna-Barbera. George lives with his family and dog Astro in Orbit City in the future. His personality is a well-meaning, caring father, but often stressed out by problems at work and home. No special supports are needed for this model. If you have the right filament colors, no painting is required. The model stands 260mm tall. Due to small parts, it should not be printed too small, but can be enlarged without issue. Building the Model Colors (there is only one printed piece) Black: eyebrow, eye, mouth, ring top, ring bottom, stripes, buckle Beige or Flesh: head, hand left, hand right White: shirt, shoes, arm left, arm right, eye white Orange: hair top, hair bottom Blue: pants Green: belt Red: tongue Any color (hidden pieces): pin belt, pin hair Printing and Assembly Tips Printing tips: 1. As with most of my models, no supports are required. 2. Make sure to clean any first layer squish if you have trouble joining parts. The parts should fit nicely when printed cleanly or with a slight first layer squish. 3. I did not require rafts or brims for any part, but use your judgment as some parts have small bases: hand left, hand right, arm left, arm right. Assembly tips: 1. The left/right eyebrows are quite small and are modeled to fit a certain way, however since they are so small that as long as they look good it should be fine anyway. 2. The left/right eye whites and left/right eyeballs are interchangeable. 3. Before gluing the stripes and buckle, make sure to bend them a bit since they are being glued to a slightly rounded part. 4. If the rings around the pants are too snug, simply sand a tiny bit off the part that touches the pants. A tiny sanding makes a big difference in how high the rings fit. 5. Since there are many small black parts I printed two sets of each part. I knew I'd drop and lose a part while putting the model together. 6. Refer to the assembly diagram for assembling the model. The model is meant to be glued.
