Geometry: Dodecahedron corner connectors for wooden skewers
thingiverse
Here are the corner connectors used to link together inexpensive wooden skewers (barbecue sticks) into one of the Platonic solids: Dodecahedron. This is an affordable method for creating different shapes for educational purposes, perhaps in schools. Two variants are available with 3.5 and 3.2 mm holes (approximately 1/8"), fitting most common wooden skewers on the market. Different dimensions can be created if necessary. View the original design at http://a360.co/2DKmBcx. This project is a follow-up to our previous Icosahedron project, available online at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2769879. Teaching my daughter Emma about geometry, 3D design, and 3D printing is a part of our journey together. I hope you find this useful!
