Geometric Foliage

Several nested and twisted tetrahedra form the foliage of the tree. The characteristic structure of the treetop is created by the varying shadows cast by the triangular bodies. The trunk of the tree is formed by an elongated prism and contains two differently shaped knotholes. Due to its simple and yet immediately identifiable shape, the tree can be used primarily in architectural situation models up to a scale of 1:200.
