Geometric 2D Diamond/ resin mold
pinshape
I designed this 3D printable geometric diamond in Fusion360. It's a cool model to gift someone, or to use as a mold for epoxy resin, which I do quite often. If you want to use it as a resin mold, I would recommend scaling the Z axis up to at least 2mm. After that, put some tape on the back of the print to prevent the resin from leaking out. Now you are ready to fill it with resin. And there you go - you're now a resin artist! Print settings: I printed it at 0.2mm layer height, 0.3mm layer width, 2 wall lines, and 100% infill. A print speed of 45-50mm/sec will be fine. It took me 1.75 hours to print it (dimensions 15.7 x 15 x 0.22cm). You could print it faster if you reduce the infill or scale it down a bit - it's all up to you.
