Geoffs Ormerod Y Axis Belt Clamps

I'm still assembling my Ormerod 1 kit, and it's a bit of a mixed bag. Some parts are well-designed, but the original Y-Axis belt clamping method is an absolute disaster - I tried multiple times to get the tension just right, but gave up in frustration. I decided to replace it with iamburnys' RepRap_Pro_Ormerod_iamburnys_Y-axis_BeltClamp_Parametric (thing:263720) from Thingiverse. However, the belt kept slipping out of place, so I added an extra screw and some nut holders to tighten it down securely. With a Y-idler tensioner (thing:356130), there's no more slippage, and adjusting the tension is effortless. I'm also not impressed with the crude white targets needed for leveling - a printer without Marlin-style auto-levelling and bed warp compensation is essentially useless. It's right at the top of my to-do list. To give you an idea of what I mean, my Solidoodle 2 was a nightmare to use until I added a $10 inductive sensor from LearCNC and some FlashForge Build Tape - now it's a joy to use. Just load up a STL file and print away, no levelling required.
