This is my improved Y-Axis Idler Pulley & Gear for the Solidoodle2. It's all 3D printed, with only two extra parts: ball bearings and a piece of 2.5mm carbon fiber or steel to strengthen the toothed belt pulley. The design is minimalist, using the absolute minimum size required to function properly. The Print Head carriage no longer crashes into the Y-idler bearing assembly, and the system operates quietly with reduced wear. The inside curve allows the toothed belt to slide in smoothly when assembled. A minor modification involves drilling out the screw mount to 3mm, allowing for external attachment of the screw. This upgrade is a significant improvement for users who prefer not to contort themselves into awkward positions. Ball bearing specifications: Bearing Diameter: 13 mm Actual Width: 5 mm Inside Diameter: 4 mm
