Geodesic Dome
thingiverse
This MakerBot-sized structure is an interlocking 2V/L2 icosahedron dome; refer to http://simplydifferently.org/Geodesic_Dome_Notes for more details. It's perfect for moon colony plans, small radar set constructions, or even a stylish lampshade when printed in PLA. To create it, you need 30 A-A-B panels, 10 B-B-B panels, and 10 B-H panels. The assembled dome should measure approximately 30cm in diameter and 20cm high, while its error-proof design ensures proper interlocking. DXF files are available for those using a lasercutter. After printing or cutting the panels, simply assemble (with glue if needed) and then use it with your pet hamster, radar, or any other desired purpose.
With this file you will be able to print Geodesic Dome with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Geodesic Dome.
