This little structure lets you securely fasten a padlock onto a PET bottle piece, commonly referred to as a "PETling" in Germany. Attached photos show how to use this device effectively. All you need to purchase additionally is a padlock that features a clip with a maximum diameter of 7mm. I will also upload the scad file I created for this item, although it was designed hastily and could benefit from further optimization. Originally, the PET lock was intended as a unique wedding gift where the PETling holds some funds and the newlyweds must capture a travel bug in its natural habitat to obtain the key to the lock.
