Geocache Rock
thingiverse
I'll just give you an ordinary micro-sized geocache made out of rock disguised as a common object. To build this, I scanned the surface of a natural rock using 3D technology and combined it with a basic mechanical assembly made of two screws joined by some connecting hardware. Inside the geocache is plenty big enough for loggers to carry small notebooks used in recording geocaching events. Assembly instructions: To prepare it visually match the object it imitates, give the outside an initial smooth layer. Secure all components using screw drives. Attach tightly. Once parts fit securely apply a thin seal using an adhesive commonly referred to as super glue, being very precise to avoid movement between elements when joined this way ensures everything lines up right so they become completely invisible once applied. Seal with some durable paint in the color matching most of earth's stones and put it away so it won't get found easily!
