Hello A mushroom geocache container. Should scale reasonably well, mushroom in photo printed at 140mm high x 110mm across x 0.2mm resolution, which gives you a 75mm x 25mm hollow section for your logbook and whatever else you can poke in there... Designed in Tinkercad Best printed upside down with supports for the mushroom cap which can easily be sanded or some texture left behind (which is what I did). I used 50% infill for the mushroom and 100% for the base/spike for strength. The base was also printed upside down (spike pointing up) with line supports used to get a clean fit. If you don't want to use the spike, it's easy enough to cut that off in your Slicer. I printed both on a raft for a bit of extra stability and taped the edges of the raft with Gorilla tape. Print was about 17 hours for the mushroom and 2.5 hours for the base/spike. Has been printed on a Voxelab Aquila and a Geeetech A10T using a mix of Flashforge, eSun and generic filament brands, all with pretty much identical results. Both printers printed at 200c and 60c for the beds. Finish is a couple of coats of generic acrylic hobby paint and a coat of stain/varnish for weathering and weatherproofing. Thanks :)
